Official Preview – Come Live With Me (And Be My Love)

20th May was Marlowe Day Canterbury, held at the Marlowe Theatre.  Kit the Musical was proud to be given a slot to introduce a song from the show. “Come Live With Me” was actually written by Christopher Marlowe himself as the poem entitled ‘The Passionate Shepherd to His Love’.

Set to new music by Julian Ng, the song was performed by Matt Cooke and Charley Tench to rapturous applause.

Here’s the song in all its glory:

Stay Tuned

There will be a special preview of a duet from Kit the Musical during Marlowe Day Canterbury on May 20th at the Marlowe Theatre.  One of Kit’s most famous works “The Passionate Shepherd to His Love” is set to music with a modern twist.

You can book to attend the Marlowe Day events by going to the Marlowe Society’s website here.

Selected scenes and songs from Kit The Musical will be staged during the 2017 Canterbury Arts Conference.

While not the full musical, the scenes and songs should give the audience a great look at the show and the story line, while not revealing too much.  Remember to book your seats.
